New Construction Project Update – Mar. 2022

The latest updates from the new paint/body shop, which is Phase A of the new maintenance and administrative facilities construction project for CityLink, are below.

Phase A – Rear Building (Paint/Body Shop):

• River City Construction installed the skylights.
• PIPCO installing ductwork and insulating. They are also working on the controls for the paint booth.
• A.N.J Electric running conduit, wiring and working on electrical panels
• Dragoo Painting completed painting and will be back to work on touch up over the next few weeks.
• Stonehard completed the resinous flooring install the week of March 7
  • They came back on March 14 & completed the sealed concrete for the storage, office, restroom and mezzanine.
• River City Construction protected the new resinous flooring so contractors could get the lifts back in to work on the mechanical installations.
• Roof hatch up on the mezzanine has been painted safety yellow.

Phases B, C, & D:

• Finalized Bid Packages.
• River City Construction worked with GPMTD and presented the logistics & parking adjustments that will occur once construction gets started.
  • Internal Safety Meetings were held the week of March 14 to bring employees up to speed on the upcoming changes.

You will find update photos below that were taken in March from a Women in Construction site visit on March 14, 2022 and of the exterior and interior of the new paint/body shop. CityLink staff is featured in the first and second photos from the Women in Construction site visit. Unfortunately there is, once again, no new timelapse video this month.

  • Demo of 1978 Building – April/May of 2022

• Phase C – South Storage Building Renovation
  • Out for Bid – December 2021
  • Final Completion Expected December 2023
• Phase D – Annex
  • Out for Bid – December 2021
  • Final Completion Expected December 2023
