New Construction Project Update – Apr. 2022

The latest updates from the new paint/body shop, which is Phase A of the new maintenance and administrative facilities construction project for CityLink, are below.

Phase A – Rear Building (Paint/Body Shop):

• Site pavement is completed
• All doors & hardware are installed
• Guardrail and dock bumpers are installed
• Metal cap and gutter/trim are installed
• River City Construction is installing Paint and Mixing Booth
• Mechanical Contractors continuing connections
  • Once Paint & Mixing Booth installations are complete, they will finalize their connections
• As of April 11, 2022, Phase A is 95% complete
• Move in is tentatively planned for the week of April 25

Phases B, C, & D:

• River City Construction is completing pre-installation meetings with all subcontractors
• River City Construction is working on contracts for all subcontractors & Material Buy Outs
• Phase B Demolition of the 1978 building is planned to start the week of May 23
• The week of April 18
  • N.E. Finch will get started on clearing and installing rock for the employee and construction parking.

You will find update photos below that were taken in mid-April of the exterior and interior of the new paint/body shop. Unfortunately there is, once again, no new timelapse video this month, but we hope to have a timelapse video of the entire exterior of the new paint/body shop once it is fully completed.

• Phase C – South Storage Building Renovation
  • Out for Bid – December 2021
  • Final Completion Expected December 2023
• Phase D – Annex
  • Out for Bid – December 2021
  • Final Completion Expected December 2023
