CityLink is Partnering with the Peoria Health Dept. to Host Public COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at Transit Center
CityLink is partnering with the Peoria City/County Health Department to host a public COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Downtown Peoria Transit Center (407 SW Adams) from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021. The clinic is by appointment only and it will be held in the Transit Center lobby during this time to allow for adequate spacing to occur after people receive their vaccination. The lobby will be closed during this time apart from ticket sales, restroom usage and the vaccination clinic. Face masks or alternative protective face coverings are required while at the CityLink Transit Center facility and riding all transportation services.

“We are pleased to partner with the Peoria City/County Health Department to host a public COVID-19 vaccination clinic at our Transit Center facility. This clinic will provide an opportunity for our passengers and the public to have convenient access to get vaccinated. The Transit Center also offers a location that is in close proximity to the businesses downtown,” said CityLink General Manager Doug Roelfs.
This upcoming clinic is one of the first public COVID-19 vaccination clinics made available in Peoria. It is also one of the first in the country that partners a transit agency with the local health department to host a vaccination clinic.
