CityLink to Host In-Person Job Fair at Administrative Office on August 9

CityLink is hosting an in-person job fair for open positions at its administrative office (2105 NE Jefferson Ave, Peoria, IL 61603) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.  The job fair will offer an opportunity to learn about the current open positions available at CityLink, the long-term employment and growth that a professional career at CityLink provides and information on employee benefits.  On-the-spot interviews will be offered to qualified candidates.

“Much like industries across the country and here in our own community, CityLink is suffering from a shortage of employees, and one of the most critical areas that we are lacking is with bus operators.  We need bus operators to continue providing the service that our passengers expect and deserve. Our goal with this job fair is to inform those seeking employment that CityLink offers competitive pay, excellent benefits and we are hiring.  We are hoping to offer several on-the-spot interviews during this job fair,” said CityLink General Manager Doug Roelfs.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have excellent customer service skills.
• Pass a background check.
• Pass a pre-employment Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test and physical.
• Complete and pass a 6-week training class
