CityLink is Set to Implement Schedule Enhancements to Improve its Bus Service Starting June 1, 2025

CityLink will implement several route and schedule enhancements to its fixed-route bus service starting June 1, 2025. While some routes will experience only minor timing adjustments, these changes will help maintain the efficiency of our transportation system for all passengers.

Routes being improved are the following:

•        1. University

•        3. Northwest Peoria

•        5. West Peoria

•        8. East Peoria / Sunnyland

•        10. Forrest Hill

•        11. Western

•        12. Heights

•        14. Wisconsin

•        20. ICC Express

New Rider’s Guides will be available and distributed to passengers in June. In the meantime, passengers are encouraged to visit ridecitylink.org to view information on the upcoming route and schedule improvements. CityLink customer service representatives are available to answer questions about the updated bus schedule during regular business hours, Monday, through Saturday, at 309.676.4040.

Also, starting June 1st, 2025, CityLink will be making changes to how buses will line up at the Transit Center in downtown Peoria. The chart below features the new line up, allowing the buses to avoid crisscrossing at the Transit Center when arriving and departing. Signs will be posted around the Transit Center, utilizing the monitors inside and posts located by the arrival and departure areas, for passengers to identify where to board their bus.
