CityLink Offering 2019 Peoria Historical Calendar Nov. 19

The public can receive a complimentary 2019 Peoria Historical Calendar in exchange for a non-perishable food donation to the Stuff-A-Bus food drive at the CityLink Transit Center (407 SW Adams St.) or CityLink Administrative offices (2105 NE Jefferson Ave.) on Monday, November 19. Representatives from CityLink will be in the Transit Center lobby from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. that day; however, individuals may still receive a calendar in exchange for a donation at the Customer Service windows until the windows close at 8:00 p.m. The calendars will be available at the CityLink Administrative offices from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. that day.

2019 Peoria Historical Calendar Cover

The 2019 Peoria Historical Calendar features photographs of local historic hotels that once provided visitors to Peoria with lodging while they spent time in the city. The photographs for this year’s calendar were provided by the Peoria Historical Society, Bradley University Special Collections Center and the Peoria Public Library. The historical content for each page was provided by the Bradley University Special Collections Center and the Peoria Public Library.

After November 19, the 2019 Peoria Historical Calendar will be available at the Transit Center and the CityLink Administration offices for a suggested donation of $5. All proceeds collected for the calendar will be donated to the Peoria Friendship House of Christian Service.
