CityLink Welcomes Chris Holmquist as Director of Human Resources

CityLink recently welcomed Chris Holmquist as the new Director of Human Resources. She is an experienced HR professional with more than 20 years of experience in the field in both the public and private sectors, and across multiple industries. Holmquist maintains a Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR) certification and the Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification. She is also trained and experienced in Cultural Effectiveness, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Learning Management. For the past ten years, Holmquist was self-employed with her own HR consulting company based in Colorado.

In Holmquist’s role as HR Director at CityLink, she will manage the overall operations of the Human Resource Department, which includes Benefit Administration, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management and Legal Compliance. CityLink currently employs a workforce of approximately 175 full-time and part-time employees, consisting of operations, maintenance, administration, customer service and security.

Holmquist is a native of Mendota, IL, and she lived in Colorado for many years before returning to Illinois.
