CityLink to Offer Extended Service on the #4 Knoxville Route
Employees and customers of several businesses along Knoxville Avenue north of Illinois Route 6 will have the option of taking the bus on Tuesday, September 3. The businesses being served include the Schnucks store in Knoxville Crossing, Huck’s, McDonald’s and Walgreens. Operated by the #4 Knoxville Route, the stop near this area will be located on the right-hand side of the Schnucks complex parking lot near C’est Ally Spa.
“We are pleased to be able to once again provide bus service to the businesses located north of Route 6 on Knoxville Avenue. This is something we tried unsuccessfully back in 2016; however, we have had time to evaluate the area and determine that it is a feasible option now. We are hopeful that strong ridership will justify making this stop a permanent fixture on the #4 Knoxville Route,” said CityLink General Manager Doug Roelfs.
