Director of Finance

The Greater Peoria Mass Transit District, (CityLink) has an immediate opening for a Director of Finance. This position is reporting to the General Manager, and will be responsible for managing the Districts financial affairs. The incumbent will be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the operating and capital budgets, preparing the annual tax levy, securing operating and capital funding for District activities, maintaining property/inventory records and preparing monthly reports for the Board of Trustees. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, plus three to four years of progressively responsible related experience. The successful candidate must have considerable knowledge of Federal, State and Local ordinances. The Greater Peoria Mass Transit District offers a comprehensive benefit package and competitive wages. Salary range $40,000 - $50,000.
